Write a Winning Conference Abstract Online

This workshop will be offered as an online session via Zoom. You must register for this workshop. You will receive a registration confirmation email, which includes the Zoom link for the workshop. On the day of the workshop, participants should log into their temple.zoom.us accounts in order to skip the waiting room. If participants are not Temple affiliates, they should use their first and last names in order to be admitted to the session. Participants do not need a video camera or a microphone, but will need an audio connection to hear the instructor.

This is an installment in the Skills in September series, where we hope to help you take action to build your professional skills in publishing and presenting! Are you interested in gaining professional experience by presenting at a virtual or in-person conference? Come to this workshop to learn how to write a winning conference abstract! We’ll examine the process for applying to a call for proposals at health, medical, and educational conferences. Tips for writing presentation titles and the pieces of an abstract will be explored. We’ll look at best practices for successful proposals and make recommendations for how you can get the most out of your conference experience.

Please contact Courtney Eger, courtney.eger@temple.edu with any questions.
