REDCap Introduction Online
This workshop will be offered as an online session via Zoom. You must register for this workshop. You will receive a registration confirmation email, which includes the Zoom link for the workshop. On the day of the workshop, participants should log into their temple.zoom.us accounts in order to skip the waiting room. If participants are not Temple affiliates, they should use their first and last names in order to be admitted to the session. Participants do not need a video camera or a microphone, but will need an audio connection to hear the instructor.
This workshop presents an overview of REDCap (Research Electronic Data Capture). While REDCap can be used to collect virtually any type of data (including HIPAA-compliant environments), it is specifically geared to support online or offline data capture for research studies and operations. In this workshop we will go over: creating a project, navigating REDCap, the data dictionary and codebook, creating and editing instruments and fields, data entry, and basic surveys.
When you register for this workshop, a REDCap account will be created for you, if you do not already have one.
Please contact Will Dean, the Research and Data Services Librarian at the Ginsburg Health Sciences Library, will.dean@temple.edu,with any questions.
This workshop is part of a series of three workshops on REDCap. You can sign up for the other workshops here:
