Video Recording and Editing: Level 1 (NEW DATE) In-Person / Online

Please note: This workshop was rescheduled to Wednesday, March 15, 2023!

Are you interested in video editing? Do you need to record a short academic video or practice a presentation? This workshop will provide a general overview of video and audio editing techniques using Adobe Premiere Pro (free to anyone with a current Temple account), as well as several alternative editing software options. This in-person session will also feature a brief demonstration of how to record yourself using the Presentation Practice Studio equipment in the Ginsburg Library, which you can perfect in post-production with all your new editing skills!

Sign up for next week's Video Recording & Editing Level 2 workshop for the full experience!

Participants can join this session one of three ways:

  • Attend in person at Ginsburg Library, or
  • Attend online via Zoom, or
  • View the recording on their own time (all registrants will receive an email with the video link after this session)

This workshop will be offered in a hybrid format. You must register for this workshop. You will receive a registration confirmation email, which includes the Zoom link for the workshop. On the day of the workshop, participants may join in person in the assigned room, or participants can join on Zoom. Participants should log into their temple.zoom.us accounts in order to skip the waiting room. If participants are not Temple affiliates, they should use their first and last names in order to be admitted to the session.
