Finding 3D Models (Online -- Thursday Thirty)

Finding 3D Models (Online -- Thursday Thirty) In-Person

This workshop will now be offered as an online session via Zoom. We encourage you to register for this workshop. On the day of the workshop, use this link to connect via Zoom: https://temple.zoom.us/s/398234231 You do not need a video camera or a microphone, but you will need an audio connection to hear the instructor.

Thursday Thirty sessions are half-hour workshops presented on a very specific topic. This month, we focus on finding 3D models! The easiest and most expeditious method of 3D printing relies on finding pre-existing 3D models that either suit your needs or can be edited to meet your requirements. This workshop focuses on where to find 3D models for 3D printing, how to differentiate between 3D model formats, how to test 3D models to make sure they are intact and of satisfactory quality, and how to edit 3D models in various ways using Meshmixer.

Please contact Patrick Lyons, patrick.lyons@temple.edu, with any questions.
