REDCap Advanced (Online) In-Person

This workshop will be offered as an online session via Zoom. You will receive the Zoom link the day before the session, in an email. On the day of the workshop, participants should log into their temple.zoom.us accounts in order to skip the waiting room. If participants are not Temple affiliates, they should use their first and last names in order to be admitted to the session. Participants do not need a video camera or a microphone, but will need an audio connection to hear the instructor.

If you’re pretty savvy with REDCap (or have taken the previous two REDCap workshops in this series), join Will Dean, Research and Data Services Librarian, for a dive into the advanced features of REDCap. You may be familiar with using REDCap to collect survey data for your research, but this versatile service also has many interesting and helpful features that can streamline your methods and open up new avenues for data collection. We will cover: using the calendar tool to track your project, repeatable survey instruments, sending surveys via text (both sending a survey link and sending survey questions themselves), using calculated fields, and data exports.

It is recommended that you register for this workshop ahead of time so a REDCap account can be created for you, if you do not already have one.

This is the final workshop in a series of three workshops on REDCap.

Please contact Will Dean, the Research and Data Services Librarian at the Ginsburg Health Sciences Library, will.dean@temple.edu, with any questions.
