Photoshop in the Field Online

This is a crash course in Photoshop and general image editing basics geared towards those working or studying within the medical field (though the skills are, of course, transferable). We will discuss how layers work, making backgrounds transparent, loading up and editing DICOM or other medical scan images, and more! In addition to Photoshop, we will also explore free alternatives for image editing and composition like Canva and GIMP. Adobe Creative Cloud, which includes Photoshop, is available to the Temple community for free from Temple ITS

This workshop will be offered as an online session via Zoom. You must register for this workshop. You will receive a registration confirmation email, which includes the Zoom link for the workshop. On the day of the workshop, participants should log into their temple.zoom.us accounts in order to skip the waiting room. If participants are not Temple affiliates, they should use their first and last names in order to be admitted to the session. Participants do not need a video camera or a microphone, but will need an audio connection to hear the instructor.

Please contact Nick Perilli, nicholas.perilli@temple.edu, with questions.
