Keeping Up with the Biomedical Literature Online

How can you stay up to date with current biomedical literature? This 30-minute session will introduce ways to leverage technology to efficiently keep current with biomedical literature, including COVID-19 research. This session will cover 1) customized email alerts from databases, such as PubMed and CINAHL, 2) citation tracking tools, such as Web of Science and Google Scholar, 3) journal reading apps, such as Browzine, 4) social media tools including Twitter, and 5) podcasts and videos.

Register to attend the live session or to receive a copy of the recording.

This workshop will be offered as an online session via Zoom. You must register for this workshop. You will receive a registration confirmation email, which includes the Zoom link for the workshop. On the day of the workshop, participants should log into their temple.zoom.us accounts in order to skip the waiting room. If participants are not Temple affiliates, they should use their first and last names in order to be admitted to the session. Participants do not need a video camera or a microphone, but will need an audio connection to hear the instructor.
