PubMed Essentials (online) Online
PubMed is the quintessential database for health and biomedical research, and it also received an interface redesign last year! This workshop will introduce you to the updated PubMed and help you develop an effective search strategy. We’ll discuss how to select and combine search terms. We’ll demonstrate ways to limit searches, review and edit search details, and how to best collect citations. We'll also show you how to access the full text articles through Temple University and discuss what to do if we do not have the full text of an article.
Register to attend the live session or to receive a copy of the recording.
This workshop will be offered as an online session via Zoom. You must register for this workshop. You will receive a registration confirmation email, which includes the Zoom link for the workshop. On the day of the workshop, participants should log into their temple.zoom.us accounts in order to skip the waiting room. If participants are not Temple affiliates, they should use their first and last names in order to be admitted to the session. Participants do not need a video camera or a microphone, but will need an audio connection to hear the instructor.
