REDCap Intermediate Online

This workshop will be offered as an online session via Zoom. You must register for this workshop. You will receive a registration confirmation email, which includes the Zoom link for the workshop. On the day of the workshop, participants should log into their temple.zoom.us accounts in order to skip the waiting room. If participants are not Temple affiliates, they should use their first and last names in order to be admitted to the session. Participants do not need a video camera or a microphone, but will need an audio connection to hear the instructor.

This workshop focuses on building intermediate REDCap skills. While REDCap can be used to collect virtually any type of data (including HIPAA-compliant environments), it is specifically geared to support online or offline data capture for clinical research studies and operations. You will learn how to create a more complicated and collaborative REDCap Project. We will go over using branching logic to hide and show fields, add collaborators and control what data they can access (user rights, roles and data access groups), create longitudinal research study events in your project, schedule surveys for particular times, and import data.

When you register for this workshop, a REDCap account will be created for you, if you do not already have one.

Please contact Will Dean, the Research and Data Services Librarian at the Ginsburg Health Sciences Library, will.dean@temple.edu,with any questions.

This workshop is part of a series of three workshops on REDCap. You can sign up for the other workshops here:
